New Delhi: With question still looming about who will form the government in Delhi, Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and election in-charge for Delhi Nitin Gadkari on Sunday expressed confidence in getting majority.

“According to my reports we have 34 seats (Delhi) till now, we will get a complete majority,” Gadkari said. Surprised with the stunning performance from the debutant Aam Aadmi Party, Gadkari said that such a performance was not expected.

“Did not expect AAP to perform so well, we congratulate them for their performance,” he said.
While criticising the Congress, Gadkari pointed that the verdict clearly indicates a rejection of the Congress party`s leadership of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
As the BJP is on course to emerge as a single largest party in Delhi Assembly election, the AAP, however, has stolen the show as it is set to finish second and has served Congress defeat which finishes at a poor third.
