Bangalore, March 30: The BJP on Monday called for
dismantling terrorist infrastructure on Pakistani soil in the
wake of today`s terrorists` attack on a police training centre
near Wagah border in Lahore which killed 20 policemen.
"Dismantling terrorist infrastructure on the side of
Pakistan is the urgent need of the hour", senior BJP leader
Venkaiah Naidu said during a press meet.
Condemning the attack, Naidu reminded the union government
that the incident "is a grim reminder that the Taliban is next
door" and demanded that strong measures be taken against
terrorism without being "soft on terrorists".
He regretted the government`s "lack of action" on the
recent terror attack in Mumbai and demanded to know what steps
the government has taken three months after the incident.
