Pune, March 29: National Communist Party president Sharad Pawar has said that the UPA constituents, who have fallen apart to contest Lok Sabha polls independently, would be reunited after elections
to form a stable government at the Centre.

"All the UPA constituents will come together again
after the verdict from the people to elect a leader and form a
stable government at the Centre," he said, launching the joint
campaign of Congress-NCP in Maharashtra here Saturday night.

Pawar, whose party has projected him as Prime
Ministerial candidate to the chagrin of Congress, said that every
party had a right to make its own choice as was done by Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party by naming Dr Manmohan Singh and LK Advani,
respectively for the top post.

He praised the achievements of United Progressive Alliance government and attacked BJP`s policies branding them as "communal" and detrimental to social harmony needed for the country`s
development.

The veteran Marathi leader also addressed a rally in
support of Congress-NCP alliance candidates, including his
daughter Supriya Sule (Baramati) and Suresh Kalmadi (Pune
city)
