A Bangladeshi national has been arrested with fake Indian currency notes with a face value of more than Rs 5 lakh at a border outpost in Malda district, BSF said on Monday.

arrested with fake Indian currency notes with a face value of
more than Rs 5 lakh at a border outpost in Malda district, BSF
said on Monday.

Abdul Rahman, a resident of Jaminpur village in Chapai
Nawabganj district of Bangladesh, was arrested yesterday when
crossing into India at Churiantpur outpost in the district, a
BSF release said.

Most of the fake currency notes were in the denomination
of Rs 500 and Rs 100.
