New Delhi: Bhojpuri superstar turned politician Manoj Tiwari has had a terrific movie career before he ventured full-time into politics. Currently the BJP Delhi chief, actively involved in his illustrious political career, Tiwari is still known amongst his Bhojpuri fans for some great work in movies and songs.

He also happens to be a singer and back in 2012 had released a song titled 'Chat Deni Maar Deli' which became a rage. The lyrics of the song are peppy and were written by Manoj - Prabhu Nath. The song has now become viral on social media. It has garnered 20,660,712 views on YouTube so far.

In 2009, he contested the national elections for Samajwadi Party. He won the Lok Sabha constituency of North East Delhi in 2014 general elections as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate.

He even participated in popular reality show 'Bigg Boss' season 4.
