Hajipur: A minor girl was allegedly raped and strangulated to death by two men in a village under Raghopur police station area in Bihar's Vaishali district, the police said on Friday.
The body of a nine-year-old dalit girl was found in a maze field in Fattepur village this morning.
It appeared that the girl was allegedly raped by the perpetrators who later strangulated her to death and dumped her body in a maze field, they said.
The victim's father has lodged an FIR charging two men with rape and murder of his daughter. Raids were on to nab the accused persons.
