They say men crave for just two things food and GIRLS. Well I do not have much to write home about when it comes to food (for that read Smita Mishra’s blog). But when it comes to girls I am not short of words! What got me interested in writing about these two cravings of men is to let you know what is in the offing for you this year. <br/><br/>What I am going to talk about here is the girls men are fantasizing about in the year 2008. Well the list is quite long with some old names missing and some new additions. After toying with the idea of making a rank list, I decided against it. Each beauty is second to none in my as well as in every man’s books. Ofcourse there has to be someone who’s a bit hatke….someone who could be called the ‘flavour of the season.’ <br/> <br/>So be it Deepika Padukone being called the sexiest woman by Maxim or Katrina Kaif topping the list of FHM’s sexiest women of the world or be it Kareena `size zero` Kapoor starving herself to fit into a two piece bikini and emerging out of water gripping with grace in her career’s biggest flop ‘Tashan’, or Soha Ali Khan shedding her inhibitions to appear in a bikini on Maxim or going topless- Bollywood queens are surely getting noticed in their all new sexy avatars.<br/><br/>Desi sensations are now coming to terms with their sensuality and have stopped turning coy at the drop of even a hat. They are using their beauty and sensuality to their advantage in an increasingly competitive glamour world.<br/><br/>So you have Shriya `Shy` Saran and `Smoking Hot` Shweta Salve sizzling in bikinis for Maxim. For different reasons of course: while Shriya does it to break away from her girl-next-door image, Shweta does it to cash in on her success in the telly dance show `Jhalak Dikhla Ja` and to give a glimpse of her fabulous figure which audiences will get to see in her next movie.<br/><br/>Then there is Tinsel town’s recently single Amrita Arora doing a Tomb Raider for the same mag and her elder sister ‘Yummy Mummy’ Malaika Arora Khan making men go weak in their knees by striking a sexy pose on a couch….ouch. One wonders……..Is it for real? Are Bollywood ladies really.....Well the answer is YES.<br/><br/>For some the idea of doing these photo-sessions could be to get into headlines or controversies, while for some it could be a great way to remain in the public eye. <br/><br/>So you have Yuvi’s ex Kim Sharma appearing in a fitness freak avatar and Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat appearing as a stripper. And surprise, surprise we got to see Bollywood’s one time ‘Cold Queen` Amisha Patel appearing in oh-so hot outfits just to prove to the world that she definitely got oomph!<br/><br/>If all that has left you asking for more, then well there are India’s two ex-Miss Universe, the curvaceous Lara Dutta and Sushmita `Sophisticated` Sen appearing on the covers of two different mags but looking as hot as they were when they were crowned. And there are others like former Miss India Asia-Pacific Diya `Fabulous` Mirza with a gun in her hand while India’s `Firang Import` Yana Gupta, Controversial Sandhya Mridul, Dusky BeautyTanushree Dutta posing for Maxim while Bollywood Siren Neha Dhupia appearing out of pool on the cover of `The Man` phew….quite a long list…..but I’m not done yet.<br/><br/>The latest one being Vidya `Parineeta` Balan who seems to be hell bent to prove herself fashionable. After drawing flak for her dresses in Heyy Babyy, Kismet Konnection, Filmfare awards and almost wherever she has been seen in recent times, she appeared in an even worse outfit. Well Ms Balan you have left us speechless with your acting prowess, your voice, your eyes, and your smile and to top it all with “your dresses”. So a word of advice from my side: stick to a sari, its the right kind of attire for you. Of all your appearances on the silver screen that we have seen, you looked your best in your first movie Parineeta. <br/><br/>The list continues with even cute actresses showing their wilder side to the audience. So you have petite actress Amrita `Gorgeous` Rao redefining herself and bringing out her X-factor in Shortkut: The con is on. Showing her hourglass figure, the girl would be seen in bikini tops jiving on the beaches with Arshad Warsi. And Minnisha `Endearing` Lamba can be seen in a white two-piece in Kidnap and Sonam `Saanwariya` Kapoor appears on the cover of Cosmopolitan. <br/><br/>The trend is catching up among new, old and bold actresses alike. It is good to see Indian actresses coming of age and appearing on the covers of magazines like Maxim, FHM, Vogue, Cosmopolitan etc.<br/>But then who is complaining! <br/><br/>But there are others who dare to be different. One such actress happens to be `Jaane Tu` girl Genelia D’souza, the girl with a killer smile and the most endearing eyes in the world can be crowned with the title of `Flavour of the Season`. Well this year she wins it hands down. By refusing to wear bikinis and revealing clothes and turning down offers of doing steamy scenes and bold roles, the girl surely has something to prove to the world. <br/><br/>While most of the people may not agree with me, one has to admit that the girl dares to be different. So watch out for this ‘it’ girl who is out to steal your hearts for a lifetime…..not to grab your attention for a short while.<br/><br/>Afterall, it is just not about skimpy clothes. After all you have to leave something to men’s imagination. A secret under wraps raises more curiosity and mind you a beauty in imagination is more beautiful than a beauty exaggerated.<br/>
