New Delhi: The nation is gripped in 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' mania and it would not be wrong to say that the buzz is phenomenal. Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli's magnum opus has created history and made several new records at the box office but surprisingly, there is one record which the epic saga failed to crack.

Yes! If figures are to be believed, then 'Baahubali 2' minted Rs 41 crore in Hindi version which is more than Salman Khan's 'Sultan' (Rs 36.54 crore) and Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' (Rs 29.78 crore) but is falls short of a crore from Shah Rukh Khan's 'Happy New Year' opening day record of Rs 42 crore.

As per BollywoodLife.com, Happy New Year Day one collections are:

Hindi: Rs 42.62 cr

Telugu: Rs 1.43 cr

Tamil: Rs 0.92 cr

Total: Rs 44.97

Making the grand total to Rs 44.97 crore and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the day one collection of 'Baahubali 2' which is #Baahubali2 Fri ₹ 121 cr NETT. India biz.

Hindi: ₹ 41 cr Telugu + Tamil + Malayalam: ₹ 80 cr

Therefore, as far as opening day collections are concerned SRK still remains unbeatable at the box office.

'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' features an impressive ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar in pivotal roles besides an incredibly amazing supporting cast.
