Mumbai: Salman Khan's next after Race 3  - Bharat - produced by Atul Agnihotri and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar may have Priyanka Chopra on board. 

The makers haven't made official announcements yet but there's a strong buzz suggesting that Bharat could be Priyanka's first Bollywood film after a hiatus of two years.

The former Miss World was seen in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal, an actioner that saw PeeCee playing a police officer. Its been a while we have seen Priyanka in Bollywood.

She as been busy with the third season of her American TV show Quantico and a couple of Hollywood films - A Kid Like Jaje and Isn't It Romantic.

“Priyanka has also worked with Ali in Gunday (2014) and shares a good rapport with him. This film will see the three of them collaborate for the first time,” dnaindia.com quoted a source as saying.

Salman and Priyanka have worked with each other in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love (2007) and God Tussi Great Ho (2008).

“The fact that their jodi is coming together after such a long time will surely be exciting news for their fans,"the source added.

Bharat, set in the backdrop of India in 1947 will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Not just that, the film will showcase significant events over a period of 70 years since partition.

The film which is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father, will be shot in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Punjab and Delhi besides London.

Filmmaker Zafar and Salman have delivered two blockbusters in the form of Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai already so we can expect some fireworks at the Box Office when Bharat hits theatres next year.
