New Delhi: Remo D'Souza's upcoming action-thriller film 'Race 3' has been certified 12A certificate (equivalent to 'U/A' in India) by the British Board of Film Classification or BBFC. The 12A rating mandates that the film cannot be viewed by a child under the age of 12 unless accompanied by an adult.
The British Censor Board listed the film on its official Twitter handle, stating, "RACE 3 (12A) moderate violence, sex references http://www.bbfc.co.uk/AZF362227."

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh too shared the news adding that the approved run time of the film is 158 minuted and 30 seconds. The film has been certified both in 3D as well 2D for worldwide release.

The film is the third instalment of super-hit franchise 'Race'. Directed by choreographer-turned filmmaker D'Souza, 'Race 3' stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala besides Daisy Shah on board.
The first two instalments had Saif Ali Khan essaying the lead role and they were directed by Abbas-Mustan. Only Jacqueline and Anil from the current crew have been a part of the first two instalments. The third installment of the hit series has been jointly produced by Salman Khan Films headed by Salman's mother Salma Khan and Tips Films.
The film is set to release on June 15.
