New Delhi: Former 'Bigg Boss' finalist Karishma Tanna, also known as the Deepika Padukone of small screen has bagged a big project. Although the talented actress has been in the industry for more than a decade and features in films as well, her big ticket to stardom has been television.
According to BollywoodLife.com, Karishma will be seen doing a special role in Sanjay Dutt biopic. Yes! The former 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' contestant has confirmed the news to a portal and the report quotes her saying, “Yes, I am doing a guest appearance in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. I have shot for the first schedule of it.”
Well, this role can be a huge turning point for Karishma's career as working with Ranbir will bring on the forefront. Her fans loved watching her on reality show 'Bigg Boss 8', 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' and several other hit shows on the small screens.
Karishma made her Bollywood debut with 'Grand Masti' in 2013 and has done a film with Sunny Leone 'Tina and Lolo' which is yet to release.
Dutt biopic has Ranbir in the lead role with Paresh Rawal playing Sunil Dutt's part. Dia Mirza will be seen playing a pivotal part in the Rajkumar Hirani venture.
