Mumbai: Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again directed by Rohit Shetty has emerged as the most successful film of the ongoing year after the concluding part of SS Rajamouli’s two-part magnum opus Baahubali that released in April this year.
Golmaal Again, the fourth instalment of the blockbuster franchise – Golmaal – is inching closer to the Rs 200 crore milestone.
Trade Anaylst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on November 8 to share the latest Box Office collection figures.

Also starring Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tabu and Parineeti Chopra, Golmaal Again released on October 20. The film clashed with Aamir Khan’s production venture Secret Superstar starring Zaira Wasim.
Golmaal Again is the first instalment from the Golmaal series to incorporate the horror element. The horror-comedy succeeded in tickling people’s funny bone and family audience thoroughly loved the film. It turned out to be a complete family entertainer ideal for viewing during a grand festival like Diwali.
Every time Ajay and Rohit have teamed up for a film, they have delivered a massive hit. Be it the Golmaal series or Singham and Singham 2. The duo has delivered super-hit films and fans have no reason to complain.
In fact, during a live interaction on Twitter, a fan threatened Ajay and Rohit by saying that he would drag them to court if they stop making Golmaal films in future. This goes to show that the Golmaal series is a huge hit among moviegoers and they would love to see many more instalments of the film in the times to come.
