Mumbai: Well, if this speculation turns out to be true, it will certainly be big news! Buzz has it that Aanand L Rai has roped in Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif for his film which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role! Yes, you read that right!
According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, originally attributed to DNA, Rai’s film may have Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-girlfriends Deepika and Katrina on board!
“Aanand has been in talks with a few actresses, and has finally sealed the deal with DP and Kat. While there were reports about Deepika replacing Katrina and vice-versa, the film will have both the heroines working together for the first time,” DNA quoted a source as saying.
“Both the roles in Aanand’s film are extremely strong and totally different from the other. The team is planning a big announcement soon. The modalities are being worked out currently,” the source added.
We have seen two A-list actresses sharing screen space in the past. Deepika and Priyanka Chopra had worked together in ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Even Katrina had worked with Anushka Sharma in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. But Deepika and Kat teaming up for a film is surprising because they share a common history.
