New Delhi: Vishal Bhardwaj's ambitious war drama 'Rangoon' released on Friday 24, 2017. The film has an impressive star cast with the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead.
'Rangoon' although is a performance-driven venture witnessed a rather slow start at the box office reportedly. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the first day collections of the film.
He tweeted:
#Rangoon has a dismal start... Fri ₹ 6.07 cr. India biz... Will need to show massive growth on Sat + Sun to sustain and survive.

'Rangoon' is set in the backdrop of World War II where Kangana plays Miss Julia, Shahid will be seen as Nawab Malik and Saif as Rustom Rusi Billimoria. This is Kangana's first film with Vishal whereas Saif's second outing after 'Omkara' and Shahid's third venture with the filmmaker.
