New Delhi: After the success of his latest film Padmaavat, Shahid Kapoor is all set to star in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, a film being helmed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh.
The movie went on floors on February 9, 2018 and also stars Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Shahid took to Instagram to share the first ever picture from the sets of his upcoming film.
He captioned the post as- “Day 1. On set. Batti Gul meter Chalu.Here we go. #goodpeople#goodvibes”
The trio of Yami, Shraddha and Shahid will be seen first time together on the big screens. After the success of his previous venture 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, all eyes will be set on the next directorial venture of Shree Narayan Singh.
Like his previous outing, the filmmaker has addressed yet another issue which a common man faces every day. The film is likely to bring forth the problem of electricity bills and how it affects the daily life.
