New Delhi: What is your idea of an ideal monsoon? It is all about sitting by the window and enjoying the pitter patter of raindrops right?
But what if you have to drive through water filled roads on a heavy rainy day and what if you have to continuously keep doing this through out the monsoon?
You must keep these 5 most essential items your car during monsoon. These items might seem very humble but believe us, during emergency these humble items will get you out of trouble.
Umbrella
If you get wet and get inside your car, the seats will soak all the moisture. It takes a very long time to completely dry off that moisture. Umbrella would not keep you dry, it will also help your car seat from being damp.
Charger or Power bank
Don't let your mobile battery run out during those long traffic snarls. Owing to the heavy rains, you might have to sit for a longer period inside the car. Always keep a charger wire or a power bank with you. When the traffic refuses to move even an inch, you can play your favourite game without having to think of the battery level.
Food items/quick snacks
Again, you never know how much time it will take you to reach home. If you are with family or you have kids with you, some quick snacks will not only take care of your hunger pangs, it will also keep you away from the monotony of the traffic.
Tow rope
Monsoon or no monsoon, a tow rope always comes as a solace during an emergency. God forbid, if your car stops in the middle of the road and you can't re-start it, the tow rope is all you need.
Torch
Like the tow rope, a torch is also very useful whether it is monsoon or not. Should you need to change the tyre or open and check your bonnet in the dark, a torch will be the most handy thing you will need.
