Bajaj Pulsar RS200 launched in India; price starts at Rs 1.18 lakh

New Delhi: Aiming to regain its lost share in the two-wheeler market, Bajaj Auto launched the Pulsar RS200 in India on Thursday.

Bajaj has launched two version of the bike --ABS and non-ABS. The non-ABS version has been priced at Rs Rs 1.18 lakh while for the ABS version the bike will cost Rs 1.30 lakh.

The new bike has crystal LED tail lamps, aggressive muscular styling, Nitrox Mono Suspension, fuel injection system, race exhaust, and twin projector headlamps.

On the performance side the single cylinder 4 stroke bike has 199.5 cc displacement, producing Max power-(PS @ RPM) 24.5 @ 9750 and Max torque-(Nm @RPM) 18.6 @ 8000.

Earlier this month, Bajaj launched an all new version of its 100-cc bike Platina ES, priced at Rs 44,507 (on road Delhi).

The new version comes on an entirely new platform developed with a new DTS-i powered engine which delivers a mix of superior power and mileage.
