BMW New MINI Countryman launched in India at Rs 36.5 lakh

The New MINI Countryman is is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

New Delhi: German car maker BMW has launched the new model of the compact luxury-car brand, Mini in India – the 2015 Countryman diesel.

The New MINI Countryman has been launched at Rs 36.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The car is powered by 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine that delivers 112bhp of power and a maximum torque of 270Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 kilometre per hour in 11.3 seconds while reaching a top-speed of 185Km/hr.

The car is is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the only transmission option available.

On the cosmetic side of the car, the new Mini sports new front and rear bumpers, Sports Leather Seats, short overhangs, LED fog lamps for the Xenon headlights, multi-function sport leather steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels and radio MINI boost CD.

The new Mini Countryman which will have nine body colours options will be pitted against Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, BMW X1, and Volvo V40 Cross Country.
