New Delhi: German Auto major BMW launched the new X3 model in the Indian market on Thursday, the pricing starts at Rs 44.90 lakh.
The current generation X3 is available since 2011 in the Indian market. The new X3 is an upgraded facelift version of the existing model.
Exterior
The new X3 will sport a more eye-catching kidney grille, new front and rear bumpers, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators. It will have restyled alloy wheels, the bonnet has been beefed up too. X3 will get a new set of LED tail lights.
Plush Interiors
The new X3 will have new decor on centre console, textured wood finish, new seat fabric designs, darker leather shades, revamped switchgear, wider infotainment system screen and a restyled instrument cluster.
Engine
The SUV is expected to get TwinPower 2-litre diesel engine which has been tuned to offer more power and efficiency. The engine churns out 187bhp of power and 400Nm of torque in the xDrive models (AWD) and 147bhp and 360Nm of torque in the sDrive. BMW India may only offer it in a single engine option which, in all probability, will be with the xDrive variant.
Price
Like the existing X3, this new model will compete with the Audi Q5 and the Land Rover Freelander 2 and the it may fall in the Rs 45-60 lakh range.
