New Delhi: VE Commercial Vehicles on Monday reported 7.6 percent increase in total sales in May at 4,035 units, as against 3,750 units in the same month last year.
Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3,962 units in May 2015 as compared to 3,685 units in the same month last year, up 7.5 percent, the company said in a statement.
In the domestic market, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 3,617 units as compared to 3,064 units in the year-ago period, an increase of 18 percent.
Exports of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 345 units in May as against 621 units in May last year, down 44.4 percent.
Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 73 units in the month as compared to 65 units in the same month last year, up 12.3 percent.
