New Delhi: Auto maker Ford India on Wednesday launched its compact sedan Figo Aspire. The car, launched with both petrol and diesel engines, has been priced at Rs 4.89 lakh.
The Figo Aspire comes equipped with up to six airbags – including side and curtain airbags.
The Figo Aspire boasts leather seats with adjustable headrests, 20 smart storage spaces, mounting and charging mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation system.
Available in 4 trim levels - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+, the customers will have the power of choice with a new and improved 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol engine, delivering a peak power of 88 PS and fuel economy of 18.2 Km/l and a 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine, offering a peak power of 100 PS and an outstanding fuel economy of 25.8 Km/l.
Figo Aspire will come with a six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission paired with a 1.5L TiVCT petrol engine, offering a peak power of 112 PS and a fuel economy of 17.2 Km/l. The advanced dual-clutch system is backed by a 10-year or 100,000 km warranty.
The Figo Aspire is available in 7 all-new colours - Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey.
The Figo Aspire, Ford's first sub-4 meter sedan, will compete with Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Zest.
