New Delhi: Ford has unveiled its Ka+ sedan based on its hatchback Figo in Brazil , which is expected to replace the Figo.

According to media reports, Ford will launch the 2015 Figo in July this year in Brazil. The car is set to debut in the Indian market in 2015.

The Brazilian 2015 Figo is powered by a new 1 litre petrol engine called Econetic, producing 85PS at 6500 rpm and 105Nm of peak torque at 4500rpm. The engine weighs 85 kilograms.

Brazil would be the first country to get the Ka+ sedan and the car will be launched later in the rest of the world. The 2015 Figo hatchback was revealed last year as the Ford Ka concept.

Ford is not launching a diesel variant of 2015 Figo till now but since diesel cars are quite popular in India, therefore, Ford might offer a diesel variant for 2015 Figo .
