New Delhi: One of the much hyped low cost cars in the history of automobiles is set to be revamped and relaunched next year. The Tata Nano will be relaunched as a smart city car after the project's revival in 2015. In recent years Tata is experiencing from lower sales of the model.
The Nano project has been primarily suffering from two setbacks- frequent incidents of fire engulfing the vehicle as well as lengthy waiting period for customers buying the vehicle.
Meanwhile it is learnt that Tata has upgraded the safety features of the car in its new model- Tata Nano Twist.
Recent reports also suggest that the car, which is presently being manufactured at Tata's Sanand facility in Gujarat will be ravamped to the extent that it will be exported to foreign shores.
