Harley Davidson recalls 'Street 750' model bikes over safety issue

The bikes manufactured between February 24, 2014 and July 15, 2015 will be recalled.

New Delhi: American Motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson will recall 3,698 units of its 'Street 750' model to fix an issue with the fuel pump module in the bikes.

The bikes manufactured between February 24, 2014 and July 15, 2015 will be recalled.

The fuel pump is equipped with a poor seal at the inlet, which negatively affects the fuel supply system when the rider accelerates the bike.

The company also said that it’s working with dealers in India to notify customers about the recall and bring their bikes for inspection.

Harley-Davidson is one of the most renowned and luxury American bike manufacturer. The company has asked its dealers to issue replacement notifications to all its consumers who have purchased the faulty bike.
