New Delhi: Oil marketing companies have decided to increase petrol pries by Rs 3.18 per litre and diesel by Rs 3.09 with effect from midnight Saturday.
Petrol prices were last increased by 82 paise a litre and diesel by 61 paise a litre on Feb 16, reversing the declining trend of the past six months.
Prior to February 16 hike, petrol was cut on 10 occasions since August and diesel six times since October.
