New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi which has garnered attention from all quarters in India with its hot-selling phones has launched yet another model- Redmi Note 4G.

Let's have a look at five key features of the phone that made it a blockbuster-hit among smartphone lovers.

Display

The phone has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It has a 5.5 inch multitouch screen.

Operating System and Platform

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with MIUI v5 skin on top. It has a Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset with Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 processor.

Camera

The device has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 4128 x 3096 pixels and autofocus while it has a 5MP front-facing camera. Features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR makes for an interesting device for camera phone lovers.

Battery

The smartphone is supported by a Li-Po 3100 mAh battery promising a Stand-by time of upto 775 hours on 3G while it gives a talk time of upto 38 hours on 2G and 14 hours on 3G.

Price

The 4G version of Redmi Note is a single-SIM handset that has been affordably priced at Rs 9,999.
The 3G version of the Redmi Note is available for Rs 8,999 on Flipkart too. It however runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
