Airtel to sell Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in its stores from Friday

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G phones will be sold across 133 Airtel stores.

New Delhi: If you are one of those who could not successfully book Xiaomi smartphone on Flipkart, this is time you rush to Airtel stores this Friday.

The mobile operator will begin selling Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in its stores starting this Friday at 3PM. Calling it the 'Mi Day', Airtel will keep selling the handsets every week, depending on its stock availability.

The phones will be sold across 133 Airtel stores in 6 cities comprising Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

However, the pre-condition for buying the handset is that customer having other mobile connection will have to buy an Airtel prepaid SIM with at least 1 GB 3G data pack while Airtel prepaid customers can recharge their phone with 1 GB 3G data pack and buy the phone.

The Redmi Note 4G features a 5.5-inch IPS HD display (720x1280 pixels) and is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset processor along with Adreno 305 graphics processor. It has an 8GB internal memory which is expandable to 64GB via microSD card clubbed with 2GB of RAM.

It has a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera and a sports a 3100 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
