Washington: It's an eternal battle between two tech giants of the world, Apple and Samsung, that has seen both sides fighting tooth and nail to beat the other. Be it in the patent law suit or the sale of smartphones, both sides have seen victory and defeat.
In the latest battle for sales of smartphones, Apple has reportedly beaten Samsung.
According to a report, Apple iPhone 5s is the best selling smartphone in the world having sold 7 million copies in the month of May.
Samsung's Galaxy S5 came in the second place with 5 million copies in the same month.
As per a survey in 35 countries by market researcher Counterpart, Galaxy 5S failed to bring down Apple's flagship smartphone in terms of sales.
Another report stated that while Samsung Galaxy S5 debuted with a strong sales post its launch, it has slowed since with Apple iPhone 5s overtaking it.
However, the good news for Samsung is that sales of the other iPhone, iPhone 5c is reported to be falling.
