As expected, Apple Inc on Tuesday unveiled two iPhones - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus at an event held at the Flint Center in Cupertino, California.
Interestingly, this is the same venue where Steve Jobs first unveiled the Mac personal computer.
Besides the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple also unveiled the iWatch (which the company calls Apple Watch), iWallet (which the company calls Apple Pay) and iOS8.
And for some entertainment, Irish rock band U2 performed at the event and released their new album Sons of Innocence on iTunes.
Last week, sending out an invite to the media for the September 9 event, Apple said "Wish we could say more".
Indeed, Apple said more with its products.

- iPhone 6 Plus offers up to 24 hours of 3G talktime, up from 10 before while the iPhone 6 gives upto 14 hours. Piece of good news.
- iPhone 6 will give 11 hours of video watching, wifi browsing. iPhone 6 Plus will give 14 hours of HD video playback
- Schiller introduces new motion coprocessor called M8
- Schiller says this is useful for fitness applications as it has the ability to estimate distance when cycling, running, walking. Moreover, it can also figure out elevation, such as flights of stairs.
- Schiller introduces the new LTE that he says is faster than ever. 150 mpbs compared to 100 in previous.
- There's also faster Wifi. 802.11ac. 3X faster than previous gen
- iOS 8 is guaranteed and it will come on the phone.

- And this how Apple Pay works: We have hundreds of millions of credit cards and debit cards from customers' iTunes accounts. You can use the card on file. To add another card, take a photo with the phone, go to bank to verify that it's your card, and it's added right to Passbook, Cue says.

- And what is you lose your iPhone?
- If phone is lost or stolen, can use Find My iPhone to cancel all transactions, he assures.
- Assuring the security of the transaction, Cue sais Apple doesn't know what you bought, where you bought it, or how much you paid for it. Cashier doesn't see name, credit card number, or security code.
