The instant messaging application (app) BBM which was till now available only on iOS and android market is all set to hit windows market as well.
The BBM app allows users to exchange texts, voice notes and pictures with friends and others. Users can then add friends by sharing their PIN with friends via SMS and email.
BlackBerry Messaging service which was first exclusively available only to Black Berry phone users was in the earlier part of the year extended to android and apple's iOS platforms. It will now be extended to windows phone later this year.
BlackBerry, realising the popularity and growth potenetial of Whatsapp, its top competitor, which is soon to cross 1 billion users, has decided to take this step. This is surely goin to multiply its users but at the same time provide a felxible phone environment to its users.
But the othe messaging app's like Whatsapp, Wechat, Line etc have captured the markets and has side-lined BBM, so the windows phone users might be much enthusiastic about the availablity of BBM on their devices.
