HTC Desire 210 launched; to cost Rs 8,700

New Delhi: HTC has launched its cheapest smartphone in the country. Desire 210 was launched here to day at Rs 8,700 with the aim to double the Taiwanese manufacture's market share in two years.

Under the hood, the smartphones sports a 4-inch display and will face competition from the likes of like Nokia Lumia 520, Nokia X, Samsung Galaxy S Duos.

The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean platform, 5 MP main camera and a front facing VGA camera on the front.

Also, HTC also unveiled its latest premium smartphone HTC One M8 for Rs 49,900.

Andf finally, HTC unveiled its third smartphone with 5.5 inch screen size Desire 816 which supports GSM, CDMA and 3G network for Rs 23,990.
