New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Karbonn has launched a new smartphone, priced at Rs 8,999, with enhanced camera features targetted at 'selfie' enthusiasts.
"With a host of professional camera features along with robust camera hardware, the smartphone offers consumers the ability to shoot professional grade photos.
"Equipped with superior quality Sony 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera enabled with IR film, Titanium S19 enables users to click impeccable selfies and enjoy seamless video-calling experience," Karbonn said in a statement.
The dual SIM device features a five-inch screen, latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, 1.3 GHz quadcore processor and 1GB RAM.
It also sports 8GB memory (expandable up to 32 GB) and 2,000 mAh battery.
Selfies are increasingly becoming a medium of self expression among youth contributing to its phenomenal popularity across social media platforms, Karbonn Executive Director Shashin Devsare said.
"Catering to the consumers' demand for smartphones equipped with superior camera features, Karbonn has launched a dynamic smartphone device powered with advanced photography features and interactive camera apps for superior picture and video quality," he added.
