Lava launches 5 budget smartphones under 6K

Domestic handset maker Lava has launched 5 budget smartphones in the market under Rs 6,000 price tag.

New Delhi: Domestic handset maker Lava has launched 5 budget smartphones in the market under Rs 6,000 price tag.

The company is mainly eyeing those customers who are using the basic phone and would like to switch to an affordable smartphone.

The smartphones are launched under Lava Iris series. The five budget smartphones are -- Lava Iris 400s, Iris 250, Iris 404 Flair, Iris 410 and Iris 400 Colors.

The phones are priced between the range of Rs 4,000-6,000. The phones come with a 4-inch display and sport dual core processors inside.

Of the 5 smartphones, Lava Iris 250 and Iris 400s run on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 operating system and the other 3 smartphones run on KitKat v4.4 OS.

The Iris 400s and Iris 404 Flair phones both have a 5MP rear cameras with VGA front-facing ones. The Iris 400 Colors comes with 2MP and VGA snappers, while the Iris 250 carries a 3.2MP rear lens and VGA webcam. It’s 3MP and VGA cameras for the Iris 410.

On the memory front, Lava phones have a 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. The memory can be expanded to 32GB through a micro SD card.

Lava Iris 410 and Iris 404 Flair support 3G , while the rest three only come bundled with 2G.
