Lenovo launches cheapest 4G smartphone A6000 at Rs 6,999

Lenovo has partnered with online retailer Flipkart and the smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart from January 28.

New Delhi: Chinese handset maker has launched the most affordable 4G LTE smartphone- A6000 in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 6,999. Lenovo’s A6000 was unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas this month.

Lenovo has partnered with online retailer Flipkart and the smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart from January 28. The phone will be sold through the flash sale model and the registrations will commence on January 16.

It sports a 5-inch IPS HD (720x1920p) display and is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdrogon 410 processor and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of storage space.

The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 custom interface.

The dual sim phone supports 4G LTE connectivity with support for both FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) in addition to other popular connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G.

LTE, is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals.

It also features 8MP rear and 2MP front camera and 2,300 mAh battery. The phone has two speakers and Dolby Digital Plus sound.
