New Delhi: With the series of tweets on Micromax's official twitter handle, it has become quite obvious that the domestic handset maker is all set to launch its affordable smartphone the Micromax Canvas Spark next week.
Micromax tweeted saying, “ 4 Days to go! #MicromaxCanvasSpark Coming Soon! Are you ready?”
In a series of tweets earlier, the company wrote, “Don’t compromise on your screen #MicromaxCanvasSpark Coming soon.”
“The toughest screen just got affordable. #MicromaxCanvasSpark Coming Soon!”
“Don't compromise on your operating system. #MicromaxCanvasSpark Coming Soon.”
The handset will be exclusive on online retailer Snapdeal.com.
Snapdeal official twitter handle posted, “A bigger screen size hurts nobody. Watch out for #MicromaxCanvasSpark – a Snapdeal exclusive!”
The e-commerce site further wrote, “The sweetest Android Update + Affordability = #MicromaxCanvasSpark. Stay tuned…”
Going by media speculations, the Canvas Spark will be pitted against Xiaomi's Redmi 2 and Motorola's Moto E. Reports have it that the phone will be affordably priced at Rs 6,000 while on the specs front it will reportedly have a 5-inch display clubbed Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone will reportedly be powered by a quad core processor.
