Microsoft launches Lumia 535, first non-Nokia smartphone

The Lumia 535 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of memory.

New York: Months after closing its USD 7.2 billion acquisition of Nokia's handset unit, tech giant Microsoft has launch the first non-Nokia branded Lumia smartphone.

The Lumia 535 is available both as a 3G Single SIM and 3G Smart Dual SIM running the latest Windows Phone 8.1.

Features such as one-swipe Action Center, Word Flow, Live Folders and Cortana can be enjoyed in the latest version of the Windows.

The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

The price of the phone is expected to be around 110 euros.
