New Delhi: Oppo has launched a new smartphone in India, the R5s. The phone is the successor to the super slim R5, and the new model follows the same design principle.
*The R5s is the new "slimmest smartphone" at just 4.85mm thin, taking the title away from Micromax Canvas Sliver and it's 5.1mm body. It is priced at Rs 15,200
*Aside from that, the R5s has improved specs, now sporting 3GB RAM as compared to 2GB on the R5, and 32GB internal storage instead of 16GB.
*The other components remain the same with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core, 5.2-inch (1920x1080) display with 423ppi, 13MP f/2.0 rear cam and 5MP front camera.
*The phone is, unfortunately, powered by a small 2000mAh battery, made to fit the ultra small body.
The R5s also still runs on ColorOS 2.0, which is based of Android 4.4.4.
*You'll also need to use a micro-USB to 3.5mm adaptor if you want to use your headphones on this device.
