Samsung has launched its Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone Galaxy Star 2 Plus in India carrying a price tag of Rs 7,335.
The new smartphone, an upgrade version of the Samsung Galaxy Star 2, is likely to become a serious competitor to Moto E and Micromax Unite 2.
The new smartphone price has been listed on Samsung's India e-store but it is yet to be available in the market officially.
Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus features a 4.3-inch screen with 480x800p resolution and runs on a 1.2GHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
It has a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1,800mAh battery and connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
