New Delhi: Swipe Telecom, an Indian mobile company has launched a new Android smartphone- Swipe Konnect 5- in the market.
The new smartphone or phablet – a combination of phone and a tablet- has been priced at Rs 8,999.
The smartphone will be available in the market in a few days. It is competing against Motorola's Moto E and Micromax Unite 2, as it falls under the same price range category.
The Swipe Konnect 5 weighs 135 grams and it's 5'' screen makes it compact and easy to fit in the hands of consumers. It comes with a 5-inch screen. It has a sleek matte finished body.
The phablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 3.2 MP front camera. It comes with with a 8GB in built memory and can be expanded to 32 GB.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM. The dual sim phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS upgradable to Android 4.4 Kitkat.
The gadget will be available in black and white colour options. The company will give a free screen guard, a flip cover and a business navigator.
