New Delhi: Xiaomi's unprecedented flash sales is nothing new for the company.
Repeating its previous blockbuster sales, Xiaomi RedmiNote4G units went out of stocks in less than three minutes of display on online shopping portal Flipkart.
The Xiaomi official twitter handle Mi India tweeted, “50,000 sets of #RedmiNote4G were made available today and we went out of stock in 2 mins 50 secs. Thank you!”
50,000 sets of Redmi Note 4G were up for sale on Flipkart at 2PM while 50,000 sets of Redmi 1S was made available on the e-commerce site at 5 PM.
The Redmi Note 4G features a 5.5-inch IPS HD display (720x1280 pixels) and is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset processor along with Adreno 305 graphics processor. It has an 8GB internal memory which is expandable to 64GB via microSD card clubbed with 2GB of RAM.
It has a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera and a sports a 3100 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
On the other hand, the Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display (720x1280 pixels) and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.6GHz. It comes with 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB vi microSD card along with 1GB of RAM.
Redmi 1S runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and comes with a rear camera of 8MP and a 1.2MP front-facing camera.
