New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has again set the rumour mill working with it's latest social media teaser. The new teaser has fuelled speculations about a possible rate cut of the company's smartphones in India.
The company in its official twitter page has posted, “It's true — we're dropping some exciting news tomorrow noon! What might it be?”
Media reports are further pointing towards the Mi 4i. It is expected that the company might slash the price of the smartphone in India.
It may be noted that yesterday, Xiaomi unveiled the dark grey version of its much hyped smartphone the Mi 4i. The phone is priced at Rs 12,999. The phone will be available in its first flash sale on Tuesday, and will go on sale initially via the company's own website, Mi.com/in. The registrations for the first sale kicked off at 8pm on Wednesday and will close on Monday 2pm.
The Mi 4i comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, an 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 second generation processor and a 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The device was launched with Android Lollipop operating system.
