Xiaomi Mi 4i dark grey to be launched in India today

Mi 4i comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, an 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 second generation processor and a 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.

New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is all set to launch the dark grey version of its much hyped smartphone the Mi 4i.

The company has started teasing the product on its social media page. The event will kick off at 8 pm today.

Xiaomi's official India website @MiIndiaOfficial has tweeted, "#MiFans Welcome to the dark side. Want to know more? Stay tuned to our announcement today evening!"

The company has tweeted that those interested in the event can register themselves "Welcome to the dark side with our all-new Mi 4i Dark Grey. Head over to http://www.mi.com/in/events/mi4idarkgrey/ … to register now!".

To recall the tech specs, the Mi 4i comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, an 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 second generation processor and a 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The device was launched with Android Lollipop operating system.

The phone is priced at Rs 12,999.

The dual Sim 4G enabled device comes with 13 MP CMOS sensor with two-tone flash. It also features 5 MP front facing camera. It comes equipped with a 4.4V high voltage 3120 mAh battery that offers 1.5 days of usage.

The phone is 7.8 mm thick and is available in 5 colours — black, white, orange, light blue and pink.
