New Delhi: Xiaomi's new smartphone Redmi 1 will be going for flash sale today at 2pm on e-commerce site Flipkart.
The phone is priced at Rs 5,999 and as many as 1 lakh people have already pre-registered for the sale today. The phone offers the hardware specifications of the Google Nexus 4 for just Rs 5,999.
The company has set aside 38,000 units for sale. Considering the limited stocks of the Redmi 1S, the popular e-commerce giant has announced that it will limit orders to one phone per registered email id.
The smartphone has a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Cortex-A7 core and Adreno 305 image processor. It also has an 8GB flash memory.The phone has a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 with 312 ppi. It has an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP front camera.
The phone will compete to the likes of Moto E and Asus Zenphone 4.
