Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G 1st flash sale on Flipkart to begin today

The 4G version of Redmi Note is a single-SIM handset that has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels.

New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi which has garnered attention from all quarters in India is ready to sell its budget 4G smartphone - Redmi Note 4G in the country.

The first flash sale of the phone will will begin at 2pm (IST) on Flipkart for registered users however the number of handsets to be sold has not been confirmed by the company.

The smartphone has been priced at Rs 9,999.

The 4G version of Redmi Note is a single-SIM handset that has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor. The earlier 3G model of Redmi Note had MediaTek octa-core processor that lagged while playing high-quality videos and graphics heavy games.

The handset comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for clear selfies. Inbuilt storage includes 8GB with microSD card expansion (up to 64GB), and a 3,100mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone has got a 3,100mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Redmi Note 4G runs on Android 4.4 optimised with MIUI version 5 on top, upgradable to MIUI v6 early next year.
