Xiaomi Redmi Note to be launched in India today for Rs 9,999

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is finally launching its Redmi Note in India on Monday (November 24) exclusively via e-commerce site Flipkart.

New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is finally launching its Redmi Note in India on Monday (November 24) exclusively via e-commerce site Flipkart.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note will be launched with a price tag of Rs 9,999 and will go on sale from December 2.

It is believe that the Chinese company will stick to its Tuesday Flash sale like it did with its two former smartphones. This could also me that November 25 Flash sale of Redmi 1S could be the last for the smartphone.

Hugo Barra of Xiaomi had, earlier this week, revealed that the company was planning to launch its Redmi Note in India either in December or in January.

However, reports said the Redmi Note will be launched on November 24 but will able available for sale only from December 2.

The Redmi Note has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display and boasts of a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor supported by 2GB of RAM.

It also comes with an 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Redmi Note has a 13MP camera and 5MP front-facing camera.

With such features and a low price, there is no denying that it would capture the market at the Redmi 1S did. Reportedly, Xioami had sold 10,000 units of Redmi Note in just a second in Taiwan.
