New Delhi: For the sixth time in a row, Xiaomi sold off a large number of Redmi 1S via Flipkart in few seconds on Tuesday during its flash sale at 2:00 p.m.
The Chinese smartphone company had put up 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S, its highest ever for its sixth round of flash sale on Tuesday. However, all were gone in just 4.2 seconds.
Earlier, the company had put 1,50,000 units for sale on Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale which failed to take off.
Over 3,00,000 lakh were said to have registered for the flash sale on Tuesday.
Next round of sale is on Oct 21 and registrations have opened as of now.
With the 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S sold today, a total of 3,40,000 lakh phones have been sold, and in a total time of just about 37 seconds.
With a tempting price of Rs 5,999 for features that includes 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 with 312 ppi, a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Cortex-A7 core and Adreno 305 image processor, there is no denying it is one the best smartphones around.
Redmi 1S also features an 8GB flash memory, an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP front camera.
