New Delhi: In what could be seen as a warning to budget smartphones such as Xiaomi's Redmi 2 and Micromax's Yu Yureka, Lenovo on Wednesday sold 30,000 units of its latest flagship smartphone A7000 in just a mere 4 seconds.
According Lenovo, it sold 30,000 units of A7000 in a mere 4 seconds in its first flash sale on Flipkart.
The Lenovo A7000 is priced at Rs 8,999 only.
Next flash sale is on April 22 for which registrations have already begun.
The company claimed over 100,000 registered for the flash sale the Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset paired with 2GB RAM.
It comes with an 8GB internal memory which is expandable via a microSD card.
It also comes with an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera.and runs on Google’s latest OS Android 5.0 Lollipop.
