Air India is looking at closer interaction with most Star Alliance member airlines by signing code share agreement with them.
By March we aim at having code share agreements with most Star Alliance member airlines” said Rohit Nandan, CMD Air India on Wednesday.
Code-sharing agreements allow one airline to sell seats on another’s network and increase revenue.
He was speaking to media during the first-ever Star Alliance Chief Executive Board (CEB) meeting held in India.
He stressed upon the fact that Air India has been vastly improving its performance parameters in all the areas by constantly upgrading its service standards in every area of its operation.
