New Delhi: Bajaj Finance Ltd on Wednesday reported a 33 percent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 258.38 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 194.14 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2013-14.
"Total income has increased from Rs 1,081.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013, to Rs 1,485.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014," it said in a filing to the BSE.
Company's income from operations rose to Rs 1,416.43 crore, from Rs 1,027.02 crore a year ago.
Bajaj Finance, which is promoted by Bajaj Finserv Ltd, is primarily in the business of financing.
Shares of the company were trading 7.18 percent higher at Rs 3,731.05 per piece on the BSE.
