Cera Sanitaryware Q4 net up 14.37% at Rs 22.11 cr

Cera Sanitaryware Ltd today reported 14.37 percent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 22.11 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.

New Delhi: Cera Sanitaryware Ltd today reported 14.37 percent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 22.11 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.

The company had reported net profit of Rs 19.33 crore in the January-march quarter of last fiscal.

Cera's net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 250.44 crore, up 14.78 percent as against Rs 218.19 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.

Overall expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 218.83 crore, an increase of 17.70 percent compared with Rs 185.91 crore in the fourth quarter in the previous year.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Cera Sanitaryware said that its Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of Rs 6.25 per share.

Cera Sanitaryware's scrip was trading at Rs 2,470.10 apiece, down 5.12 percent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
